Before Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams 'McGosling' were, they were just two actors, filming for a movie with each other. Except they also each other with a burning passion, a fact hated, which was reaffirmed by the notebook Director, Nick Cassavetes.
In honor of the 10th anniversary of the film said Nick with VH1 about the making of the film, explained that there is a lot of tension between its two stars. He gave anecdotal example, stating, "they really got in a day on the set. Really not. Ryan came to me, and 150 people in this great scene and he says, "Nick comes here." And he makes a scene with Rachel and he says, "would you take out and put in an other actress camera reading with me?" I said, 'What?' He says: "I can not. I can't do it with her. I'm just not getting something from it. ""
He added, they go in a room and hash it with each other, made even though it turns into a screaming match. With two actors as professionally as Rachel and Ryan one might think, they aren't able to control their feelings, better? I guess not. I mean, clearly all the fights of their chemistry on screen, especially as the two dating a few months after the shooting at the end helped. Produces hatred passion leads to love? Who knows that that happens between the two that they will love these reports, but later there were lost on the set clearly no love.
These anecdotes are certainly interesting, but I wish she spent more time explaining, why Rachel and Ryan struggled in contrast to give examples of the fight. Were they at odds about character motivations? They hated each other acting techniques? Was Rachel Ryan disgusting, and vice versa?
