So 'Shelfies' are now a thing apparently must visit

Granted, you know them better than we-the proud Mama serial vacationers, the coffee connoisseur, AKA the people most likely to meet Instagram. But they could not officially been introduced to a rising social media star: "Design experts", be placed as shown in the Wall Street Journal Dale Hrabi, to see whose enviable taste people pondering on display for the Internet.

After Hrabi, their work, "is hopeful bids for attention in which aesthetic and the ego overlap," now has a name: the Shelfie. Think carefully curated vignettes, home or travel or food things set against all sorts of equally elaborate scenes (usually something white and spare parts). Although often as phony as its predecessor, the Selfie Instagrams-latest trend not quite as literal, Hrabi explains. We have seen (and) our share of Shelfies on surfaces as a shelf, after all.
