There's no one way to thrive -- and actress Julianne Moore best thrives by staying busy.
Moore talked with Arianna Huffington and Mika Brzezinski at Thrive, The Huffington Post's second Third Metric conference on redefining success beyond the two metrics of money and power, about her philosophy on setting and achieving goals.
"Life is about having a lot of experiences. Life is not about achieving what we think is success -- life is about your relationships to one another, to your friends to your significant other, to your children, to your family, to the world, to your community," Moore said.
When she speaks to college students, she said she encourages them to keep their goals "right in front of you." While there's a time and a place for bigger dreams, something more achievable -- securing a spot in local politics, versus trying to be the President of the United States right off the bat -- can help you to sooner fulfill that longing to be involved and engage in something.
