the AA said fraudulent claims could drive the price of motoring insurance car insurance premiums declined sharply with the average price of more than £100 for the first three months of the year fall, figures suggest.The AA said the comprehensive motor insurance average £531 beginning 2014.
This was 5.6% in the last three months 2013 and 16.6% below the figure for the same period of the previous year.
The third, fire and theft amounted to £725, 8.4% in the last three months and 18.5% above the previous year.
The largest waterfalls in premiums in the first part of this year down to one-fifth experienced young drivers, who pay the most for fully comprehensive insurance.
North West of England saw the biggest fall 21% as compared to East Anglia with the lowest 13%.
"Premiums are rising"AA warned, however, that the downward trend could be threatened.
AA insurance director Simon Douglas: "legal reforms of the Ministry of Justice to the containment of organised attempts to the Whiplash injury scam along with better fraud detection by insurers premiums below helped doubtless put pressure."
"But still, there is no evidence that this provides a significant reduction in the number and value of personal injury."
He added: "I expect bonuses again this year again rise, unless the topic was can be treated."
"If not, it might young drivers, to be with a bad claims history or in places where there is often claimed, the most difficult there to competitive coverage to get."
Justice Secretary Chris Grayling said: "we are the tide of battle on the compensation culture and thereby our little driver with the cost of running a car to help.
"We have important changes in the law, that an important factor in this record falls in car insurance premiums have been made."
"But we want to do more, and we are now after the Deceiver, that the costs for everyone else to force."
